This policy covers the GetAssistance website, a CreTech project. Contact us at info@getassistance.com.pk about privacy questions. It describes the version currently available and will be updated before material changes to data handling.
Document details and logos
Information entered into the document maker is processed in your browser. Business names, customer names, addresses, notes, item prices and uploaded logos are not submitted to a GetAssistance document server. The PDF is generated on your device. Uploading a logo in the form reads the selected image locally.
Optional local storage
Choosing Save Draft stores one document, including its business details and optional logo, in your browser's local storage. A later save replaces it. It stays there until you clear it with Start fresh, clear the site's browser data, or your browser removes it. It does not automatically follow you to another device. Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to see the draft, so avoid saving private records on shared devices.
Downloads, printing and sharing
Download PDF creates a file through your browser. Print sends the document to the print destination you choose. Share PDF passes a file to your device's sharing system only when you select the action. Any app or recipient you choose then handles the file under its own policies. We do not read your contacts or confirm that a recipient received it.
Website requests and support email
Your hosting connection can expose ordinary request information, such as IP address, browser information, requested pages and timestamps, to the hosting provider for delivery and security. Document contents are not included in the URLs generated by our tools. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives the network information associated with those requests. Font providers do not receive the text typed into the editor through that font request.
If you email us, we receive the address, message and attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond and investigate the issue. Do not send sensitive customer documents. Contact us to request deletion of support correspondence; some records may need to be kept for legitimate operational or legal reasons.
Advertising and cookies
GetAssistance may display advertising from Google AdSense and other advertising partners. Where advertising is served, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites. Google's advertising cookies enable it and its partners to personalize ads based on those visits, subject to your consent and applicable requirements.
You can manage or opt out of personalized Google advertising through My Ad Center. You can also visit YourAdChoices to opt out of personalized advertising from participating third-party vendors. Learn more about how Google uses advertising data.
